Sureni Weerasekera is a Sri Lankan-born, San Diego-raised, & New York-based stand-up comedian, actor, and writer. She was recently announced as a performer on 2024 Netflix is a Joke “Introducing…” showcase. She is known for her lighthearted, conversational banter to her ruthless, dark jabs. I’m the author of a best selling young-adult romance novel about a mummy called Unwrap My Heart that Publisher’s Weekly called “unfortunate” and my videos about scams and unfun facts and weird hobbies of mine have been viewed over 300 million times.
